Meet the founders

Luke Wiggs and Adam Townsend founded Commuter Films in 2016 with an ambition to create truly original, authentic work. Our expertise and experience, across both creative and production, enables us to provide large agency service with small agency enthusiasm.

To us every job is important and exciting, we offer a level of service that every client deserves. As a young agency we have fresh ideas and optimistic outlook. We don't shy away from any project and approach every brief with the same hunger.

Luke Wiggs

Creative Director

Loves: A good house plant.
Hates: Cold sandwiches.

When he’s not behind the camera, Luke looks after Commuter’s creative direction. As co-founder, he’s worked in almost every aspect of filmmaking over the years, but has found his feet firmly in the role of Cinematographer, encouraging clients to push their creative boundaries – and have fun in the process.

Adam Townsend

Head of Production

Loves: A National Trust site.
Hates: Anything other than Yorkshire tea.

Adam oversees production at Commuter, taking projects from the concept stage through to the final product. When he’s not poring over spreadsheets, Adam uses his background in filmmaking and keen eye for detail to create beautiful, engaging, standout videos.
